1.Players are not allowed to leave the diamond area unless an injury occurs. We will be setting up a tent city for players and support staff at the diamond.
2.Rules of the game will be followed according to CSA standard softball rules.
3.Teams consist of 20 players per team with 10 on the field at all times.
4.Each player is responsible to play 12 hours per day for 4 days. (Three shifts per day …one 2 hour shift, one 4 hour shift and one 6 hour shift)
5.No alcohol is allowed in this event.
6.No smoking on the field or in the dugouts….this is a fundraiser for Cancer
1.All food will be supplied on site including snacks for players and support staff.
2.Washroom facilities will be provided. (no showers, however you can get washed)
3.Sleep time will be the same as your playing shifts…2 hours,4 hours, and 6 hours
4.We will accumulate break times of 5 minutes per hour until 6 hours at which time all players will have a one half hour break.
5.All players are required to raise $100 in the form of pledges and tax receipts are offered.
6.All participants will receive a shirt with our logo and dates of the record.
7.If you raise $200 you will also receive a jacket with the same information on it. We will also have a prize for the person that raises the most amount of money. The fundraising side is also available to any volunteers that wish to do so.
8.All water, sunscreen etc will be provided.
9.We will have security and qualified health care on site at all times.
10.You are asked to leave any valuables at home as we are not responsible for lost property.
