Years Playing Ball: A little over 42..When the sport was invented!

Biggest Accomplishment: I’ve had a lot of them over the years and I find the next one is always the biggest. So, for now I guess it would be this event. Next year, who knows ?…except maybe Scott, Mark and I. Watch your emails and keep your ear to the ground…lol

Reason for playing: I, like a few others have been pretty fortunate when it comes to cancer and family.

However, there is one friend of the family that will always stay in my mind. Without releasing his name, he was young, just married and died at home from tumors in the brain. I was in my teens and remember clearly going by the house and listening to the agony and pain he went through in his last days and seeing the pain on his wife’s face knowing she couldn’t stop it. I’m doing this so I can help the Dennis’s of the world. God bless.

About Me: I’ve been around ball seemingly forever and in the summer I live and breath it. There is no finer smell than that of A5-35, glove leather and pine tar. The taste of rosin grows on you and the crack of a bat is the sweetest sound there is.

I am a first time grampie and Isabella already has a pink glove and bat. I look forward to giving her what ball has given me, and my family, over the years.
