I have been playing competitive ball since Junior High School. I was named MVP of the New Haven Ladies Softball team 3 times. I’ve played in the league for 15 years winning two league titles back- to- back. Winning the championship was a major accomplishment to myself, and the team. As the team we beat was the reigning 5 year champs. It felt AWESOME!
Reason for Playing: Who wouldn’t want to be a part of such a great event? We get to raise money for cancer research and also get a shot at a place in the Guinness Book. I love the cause and I LOVE THE GAME.
Myself: I enjoy long walks at the ballpark, Quiet talks in the bleachers, and picnics in left field. I love playing, watching and whatever else I can do that involves the game of ball. I play on a ladies team as well as a coed team. I also spare for many tournament teams. I am a working step-mom who enjoys watching my fiancée play ball, my stepson play ball and am trying to encourage my stepdaughter to play as well. I like to think of myself as a fun loving and outgoing gal and just love to be a part of baseball/softball community. It’s sort of like a cult…I mean a family around here.
