Years Playing Ball: 5
I dropped out of high school at an early age, thus starting my life on a rocky road. I struggled with what life through at me and defeated it each time. I now have a career as a warehouse foreman, am getting married in July, and have my biggest joy in the world which is my 14 month old daughter, Rosa. With everything I have been through, she is my life’s biggest accomplishment.
In the last 3 months I have lost my Aunt and Grandfather to cancer; My aunt who only fought for 8 months and my grandfather who battled this terrible disease for 3 years. So, when I got back from Newfoundland after attending Pop’s funeral I saw the posting for this ball game and that it was a fundraiser for cancer. I figure if my grandfather can last for 3 years with a threatening disease, then I can last for 4 days on a ball field.
About Me:
I am 21 and employed at the Paderno Distribution Center. I love my career and spending time with my family. I left Newfoundland when I was 16 and lived in Alberta for a year before moving to Ontario and then settling here on P.E.I.
I try to be as musical as possible and enjoy playing the guitar and accordion, especially at parties to entertain my friends. I like to think I am a mechanic sometimes and am always brought back to earth when I have a part left over or don’t know where it goes.
I am a Facebook fanatic and use it to keep in touch with all my old connections in Newfoundland to see what they are doing and how they are doing.
