Years playing ball: 35

Biggest Accomplishment: There are many things I am proud of. Helping to raise 3 kids, coaching and being involved in my community are all at the top of the list.

My reason for playing in this event is to help raise money for cancer research. It seems as if more and more people in my community are being affected by cancer. I love softball and the friendships that develop through playing.

I’m a 41-year-old stepfather to 3 great kids. I’ve been in a relationship with their mother, Karla, for 6 years. I work for the city of Charlottetown, Parks & Recreation Department installing and maintaining playground equipment. I’ve been working there for 21 years and still love it! I’ve been playing ball for 35 years. I coach women’s orthodox softball in the summer and coach junior B hockey in the winter. I love golf, playing cards and just hanging with my family.
